Llandeilo Fire Station

 

Llandeilo station’s community area has an approximate population of 9000. The station turnout area also covers areas such as Bethlehem, Ffairfach, Carmel, Dryslwyn, Talley and Llangadog.
Llandeilo Fire and Rescue Station has 12 on-call firefighters on its establishment and has a rescue pump type fire engine.

Risks include a number of hotels, animal feed centres, the River Towy, the heart of Wales railway and the local road network. The station personnel are proactive within their communities visit households to carry out home fire safety checks, and fit smoke alarms if required. 

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service is currently recruiting firefighters in the Llandeilo area, in particular those who are available from their workplace or home in day time hours. Working together Your local firefighters are able to visit your house to provide free home fire safety advice and will supply and install free smoke alarms to keep you and your family safe.
