Priority for 2014-2015
Reduce Alarms from Automatic Fire Alarm Systems
The Business Fire Safety and Community Safety teams will work closely with the station personnel, to drive down the number of false alarms in commercial and domestic type premises in Aberystwyth.
The current service mobilisation policy for domestic property alarms is currently under review, it is anticipated that a policy change could impact on the current false alarm numbers. The station personnel will notify the command safety teams following every unwanted activation, allowing the teams to follow up and introduce appropriate remedial measures.
