Lampeter Fire Station
Lampeter Fire Station was officially opened in 1962 and modified in 2010; it is situated on Peterwell terrace in the town. The Lampeter area has an approximate population of 11,125 and the station provides emergency response to the town itself and neighbouring communities of Cwmann, Cellan, Llanybydder, Cribyn and Llangybi.
On call personnel respond to the station when required. They crew a fire appliance and Rural Response Pump and also a co responder vehicle which supports the Welsh Ambulance Service in responding to medical emergencies within the community. If you are interested in becoming an On Call Firefighter at Lampeter Fire Station or if you require additional safety advice please visit our web site at www.mawwfire.gov.uk

Priority for 2014-2015
Reduce the number of Road Traffic Collisions (RTC)
The command team will work with our respective partners, utilise available data and draw upon the local knowledge of the station personnel to identify known RTC hotspot’s or identify driving related trends within the community of Lampeter.
These hotspot areas / trends will form the focus of direct interventions in the form of visual awareness campaigns and or educational input. With assistance from our partners, interventions such as Pass Plus, Megadrive and Biker Down will be delivered for members of the Lampeter area. Phoenix courses will also be delivered at the station and road safety input delivered to the young persons attending that course.
