Pontardawe Fire Station

Pontardawe Fire Station is situated in Allt-y-Cham Drive, and provides our Fire & Rescue response to the town of Pontardawe, the Neath valley, the Swansea valley and the Afan valley. Pontardawe is crewed 24hours a day by a team of firefighters who work a Self Rostered crewing system.

Pontardawe is led by Chris Coles who has extensive experience in the Fire & Rescue Service and he is supported by a team of thirteen Firefighters. The firefighters in Pontardawe are also trained in specialist rope rescue and are able to respond to all incidents that require rescues from height or in locations that are difficult to reach.
