Narberth Fire Station
Narberth Fire Station is crewed by On Call Firefighters who respond to the station when required and is situated to the south of the A40 trunk road near the eastern border of the Command, with a population of 9,510. There are many small villages served by the Station, including Templeton to the South & Clynderwen in the North.
The principal risk in the area are road traffic collisions, not only on the busy A40 trunk road which feeds the Fishguard ferry terminal and carries much of the traffic into and out of the County, but also on the country roads of the area.
The town has a vibrant town centre with independent retailers and specialist shops which draw people from all over the surrounding area. The remainder of the risk in the area is in domestic properties and the agricultural industry which is the predominant industry in the area. The station has a co responder unit which reduces the time taken for first aid trained personnel to respond to medical emergencies in the mid - Pembrokeshire area.
