COMMUNITY EDUCATION OFFICER
COMMUNITY SAFETY DEPARTMENT
NORTH POWYS, NEWTOWN
GRADE 5 - £20,661 - £22,658

A vacancy has arisen for a Community Education Officer within the Community Safety Department. The post is based within the North Powys area, Newtown, but will also be required to provide support in other areas if required.  

The role’s main focus will be to provide safety education to schools and other establishments and the wider community.  The role will also include supporting other youth initiatives, attending safety events, the delivery of community safety talks and the undertaking of home safety visits.  

The post is 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday).The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post. The successful individual should be able to convey information about key work tasks to internal and external colleagues and also be able to deal with enquiries effectively in Welsh.

PART-TIME COMMUNITY EDUCATION OFFICER (MATERNITY COVER)
COMMUNITY SAFETY DEPARTMENT, SWANSEA BAY AREA
GRADE 5 - £20,661 - £22,658 (pro rata, per annum)

A vacancy has arisen to cover maternity leave for a part-time Community Education Officer within the Community Safety Department.  The post is based within the Swansea Bay Area but will also be required to provide support in other areas if required.  

The role’s main focus will be to provide safety education to schools and other establishments and the wider community.  The role will also include supporting other youth initiatives, attending safety events, the delivery of community safety talks and the undertaking of home safety visits.  

The post is for a 6 month period and is 24 hours per week.

TEMPORARY TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATOR
TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT 
EARLSWOOD TRAINING CENTRE

There is currently a temporary vacancy in the role of Transport Administrator within the Transport Department based at Earlswood Training Centre. The post is 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday) and is initially until August 2018.

The successful individual will be responsible for the day to day administration of the Fleet Management System and general clerical duties associated with the Transport Department.
