Wholetime V​acancies​​​​​

Registration for the Recruitment Process for Wholetime Firefighters is now closed.

If you have entered the process via our Online Registration and have met the basic Eligibility Criteria, you will receive e-mails inviting you to complete two On-Line Assessments.  You will receive this e-mail from midday Friday the 25 May 2018.

Details of the assessments can be found in the Information Pack​ for this process. Your invitation to complete these assessments will also contain detailed instructions, highlighting what is involved.  The deadline for the completion of both of these assessments is 12:00 on Thursday, 31 May 2018.

If you have not met the basic eligibility criteria, you will receive an e-mail informing you of why this is the case from midday Friday the 25 May 2018.

Candidates are advised to check their e-mail accounts for these e-mails.

  • Results will only be available via e-mail.  Results will not be given over the telephone.  These results will be sent by Tuesday, 5th June 2018.

​​Service Control V​acancies

Support Staff Vacancies

GRADE 5 - £21,074 - £23,111

Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel for the post of Fleet Technician, based at Earlswood, Jersey Marine, Briton Ferry. The post is 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday).

The role will involve carrying out routine maintenance, along with mechanical, electrical and bodywork repairs of both HGV and light vehicles, plant and equipment to an agreed standard.

Candidates should possess an LGV Licence.
