I applied to the Sift as part of the recent campaign and I was unsuccessful – can I get Feedback?

An e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address that you registered with us advising you of how you can access individual Feedback Reports. These reports will be available in the next fortnight to three weeks. Please do not contact us regarding feedback – we will keep you informed of how and when you can access the Feedback Reports.

I have sat the Dealing with Information Tests, when will I get my results?

Results to the Dealing with Information Tests will be sent by no later than Wednesday 28 October 2015.  Please do not contact us regarding your results – results will not be available via phone.

When are the Physical and Practical Assessments?

The Physical Assessments for candidates who are being processed by Mid & West Wales Fire & Rescue Service are being held between Monday the 9th of November and Friday the 13th of November.  If you are undertaking the Assessments in North Wales or South Wales Fire & Rescue Services, please refer to their websites for further details.

Where can I find more details on the Physical and Practical Assessments?

You can access information in relation to the Physical and Practical Assessments from the Candidate Information Booklet.  You will find a link to a Preparatory Fitness Programme Booklet on the right hand side of this web page.

What if I can’t make the Physical and Practical Assessment dates?

Physical Assessments will only be held in Mid and West Wales Fire & Rescue Service between Monday the 9th of November and Friday the 13th of November 2015.  Due to the number of candidates within the process, it is highly unlikely that changes can be made to any assessment dates.  Where exceptional circumstances exist, efforts will be made to make alterations if/where possible.
