Consultation on our Strategic Equality Plan Equality Objectives for 2016-20
START DATE: 01 July 2015
END DATE: 30 October 2015
We are seeking your views and opinions on our proposed Equality Objectives for 2016-20.
This consultation will close on 30 October 2015 and the results will be used to inform our final Strategic Equality Plan, which will be introduced from April 2016.
The Service is required by law to develop and publish a Strategic Equality Plan (SEP). To underpin the plan we are proposing a series of equality objectives (some of the things that we plan to do) which will show how we intend to promote equal opportunities for all and enhance the way in which we provide our services.
We have already taken into account things that people have told us during recent months, and will also be attending a series of meetings with key stakeholders in order to ensure that we are capturing and incorporating as many views as possible into our plan. However, before we finalise our plan, we would like to find out what you think of them.
If you would like this information in an alternative language or format please contact us on 0370 6060699.
