Investigating, Disciplinary and Disputes Committee​

​The Investigating and Disciplinary Committee are responsible for considering and determining all matters referred to it under the Authority’s Discipline Policies P&OD 03 100 and P&OD 03 10, together with matters relating to Pensions and other appropriate matters. The Committee has full delegated powers to take all appropriate and necessary disciplinary or related action.​

Investigating and Disciplinary Committee to be held in the
Twyi Room, Fire Service Headquarters on Monday 5 October 2015 at 14.00pm
 
1.    Apologies for Absence
2.    Declaration by Members of any Personal and / or Prejudicial Interests

4.    To resolve, that pursuant to section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the reason, that if they were present, it is likely that there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within paragraph 12 of Schedule 12(A) of the Local Government Act 1972, namely information relating to a particular individual
5.    To receive and approve a report on the Firefighters’ Pension Scheme: Pensions Act 1995, Section 50 Internal Disputes Resolution Procedures: Stage Two
6.    To receive and note a report on the Outcome of an Appeal to the Pensions Ombudsman 
7.    Any other items of business that by reason of special circumstances, the Chair decides should be considered as a matter of urgency pursuant to Section 100B (4)of the Local Government Act 1972
