​Remuneration Committee

The Chief Fire Officer’s Remuneration Committee is responsible for appraising the Chief Fire Officer’s performance in light of the targets agreed, and as a result of this, will determine the appropriate level of remuneration.​​​​​​​

You are hereby summoned to attend the Chief Officers Remuneration Committee to be held in the Tywi Room, Fire Service Headquarters, Carmarthen on
Thursday 12 March 2015 at 12.00



1.Apologies for Absence
2.Declaration by Members of any Personal and / or Prejudicial Interests
3.Chair’s Announcements / Personal Matters
4.To resolve, that pursuant to section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the reason, that if they were present, it is likely that there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within the description of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972, namely: Paragraph 12: Information relating to a particular individual Paragraph 14: information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the Authority holding that information).
5.To receive and approve the minutes of the Remuneration Committee held on 22 October 2014
6.To receive and consider the Chief Fire Officer’s end of year Performance Review: 2014/15
7.To receive and approve a report on Chief Officers’ Remuneration
8.To receive and approve the Chief Officers’ Triennial Pay Review
9.To receive a verbal update regarding the Deputy Chief Fire Officer
10.Any other items of business that by reason of special circumstances, the Chair decides should be considered as a matter of urgency pursuant to Section 100(4)(b) of the Local Government Act 1972
