Councillor Rowland Rees-Evans
Chair of the Fire Authority

I have been a County Councillor representing the Ward of Llanrhystud, in Ceredigion, since 2004 and have sat on the Fire Authority since 2012.

Alongside my role as a Councillor, I am a Director of the family business Penrhos Park in Llanrhystud, and I am also Chairman of Mid Wales Tourism.

I was born in Ceredigion and live in Llanrhystud with my wife Sian and children Gweni and Ioan. I went to school at Llandovery College of which I am now a Trustee.

I am an avid supporter of the Scarlets rugby team, having played for them, Aberavon and Aberystwyth RFC in a past life! I enjoy watching most sports but in my spare time I am working to improve my golf handicap which currently stands at 14!
