Charges for Special Services

Providing it is not detrimental to our operational activities, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service is prepared to make available some of our specialist equipment and appropriately trained personnel to undertake non-emergency services for businesses and individuals within the community. Such services may include:

  • Highway wash-downs
  • Loans of equipment including portable pumps
  • Staff training in fire safety and first aid procedures

Obviously, the provision of such services has to be chargeable although the pricing (detailed below) is compatible with the costs that would typically be levied by the commercial sector.
