Our Plans
Cyflwyniad
All organisations need to plan for the future in order to identify how best they can achieve their goals. Business planning is not new to the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Authority which has always been keen to refine and share its strategic aims.
In the light of continuing pressure on the public sector to improve efficiency, the planning process is increasingly important as a mechanism for identifying how service delivery can be maintained and improved in a climate of limited or constrained resources.
Our risk reduction plans set out the vision and mission statements of the Fire Authority, together with the strategic aims for the Service and its officers to provide an efficient, effective and economic service for the communities of Mid and West Wales and one that is responsive to their needs. Identified in the sections below are the aims and the planning practices that have been adopted by the organisation. Plans are published and can be viewed from within the Documents Section of this web site.
If you have any comments or suggestions on how the Service can improve its services, please telephone Fire Service Headquarters on 0370 6060699, and ask for the Strategic Planning and Performance Department who will be pleased to take your calls.
