The Constitution

The purpose of the constitution of the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Authority is to set out in clear language how the Authority works, makes its decisions and how its Members and the Officers of the Fire Service must conduct themselves.

The Constitution document is, by its nature, inescapably large. Consequently, it has been compiled in a sectionalised manner, each of which addresses a particular topic or issue.
