Dramatic Rescue Saves Man In Floodwater

Results from the World Firefighter Games

Aberaeron Watch Manager´s Award For Dramatic Pool Rescue
A firefighter from Aberaeron has been given a special award by the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust for rescuing two young boys whilst on holiday in Lanzarote.

Grass & forestry fires reduction initiative
To assist in reducing these fires we’ve employed Swansea Bay Radio (102.1 FM) http://www.swanseabayradio.com to create a public safety message around the theme of grass and forestry fire reduction. Swansea Bay Radio’s target audience is people over the age of 25.

Mr Smith, 47, was appointed by the full Fire Authority on the 7th of April and will take up his new post on 16 June 2008.
