Hours of Availability

Availability

It is impossible to predict how often you would be called out, but the average is approximately 2-3 times a week for a couple of hours.

If you are not available to provide cover all the time, that is not a problem, you can be paid for being “on call” for only part of the day or week.

There may be times during the year when you would wish to be “on call” such as summer holidays or busier times at work and we would wish to assure you that this should not be a problem. Every retained member of staff will receive a minimum of 28 days paid leave a year, rising to 35 days after 5 years of continuous service.
