Becoming a Wholetime firefighter
The role of Wholetime Firefighter involves much more than just fighting fires. You could be dealing with anything from road, rail and air crashes to floods and chemical spills, and you could also be involved in developing links with schools, local youth groups, local organisations and vulnerable groups within the community. This side of the role promotes a preventative approach to firefighting. It involves providing fire safety advice and raising awareness to fire risks.

Unfortunately, we are not recruiting at present, however, as soon as we have any information to offer we will update this web page accordingly.

As soon as dates are finalised for the next recruitment campaign, this page will be replaced by a recruitment calendar which will indicate the proposed date for each phase of the recruitment process.
