Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Sections 30 and 31 of the Public Audit (Wales) Act 2004 and the Accounts and Audit (Wales) Regulations 2005:-

1. From 2nd August, 2011 to 31st August, 2011 inclusive during normal office hours, any person interested on application to the Director of Resources, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Authority, Authority Headquarters, Lime Grove Avenue, Carmarthen SA31 1SP may inspect and make copies of the accounts of the above named body for the year ended 31st March 2011, and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating thereto.
    
2. 2. On or after 1st September 2011 at 9.00am, the Appointed Auditor, Ms V. Stevens, of KPMG, Marlborough House, Fitzalan Court, Fitzalan Road, Cardiff. CF24 0TE, at the request of any Local Government elector for the area to which the Accounts relate, will give the elector or his/her representative an opportunity to question him about the accounts at Authority Headquarters, Lime Grove Avenue, Carmarthen, SA31 1SP.
    
3. 3. Subject to Section 31 of the Act, any local government elector for any area to which those accounts relate, or any representatives of him/her, may attend before the Auditor and make objections
    
   1. as to any matter in respect of which the Auditor could take action under Section 32 of the Act, or
       
   2. as to any matter in respect of which the Auditor could make a report under Section 22 of that Act.
       
4. No objection may be made under (3) above by, or on behalf of, a Local Government elector unless the Appointed Auditor has previously received written notice of the proposed objection and of the grounds on which it is made.
    
5. Where an elector sends a notice to the Appointed Auditor for the purposes of 4 above, he/she shall at the same time send a copy of the notice to the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Authority, Authority Headquarters, Lime Grove Avenue, Carmarthen SA31 1SP.
