Background
"Risk Reduction Planning sets out a new framework of flexibility and statutory duties which will equip Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Authority to meet the challenges of the 21st century."
This process leads to improved community safety and a more productive use of our resources by -
1. Reducing the number of fires and other emergency incidents occurring.
2. Reducing loss of life in fires and other emergency incidents.
3. Reducing the number and severity of injuries occurring in fires and other emergencies.
4. Reduce the commercial, economic and social impact of fires and other emergency incidents;
5. Safeguarding the environment and heritage
6. Providing communities with value for money.
