We have also constructed our RRP in accordance with the
Welsh Assembly Government's Service
Standards for fires in the home (PDF, 59kb).
The Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004 came in to force on 1st October 2004 and replaced the Fire Services Act 1947, with a new legislative framework to ensure the Fire and Rescue Service is better able to meet the particular challenges of the 21st Century.
Fire policy for Wales was devolved to the Welsh Assembly Government and in March 2005 the Welsh Assembly Government published its Fire & Rescue Services National Framework for Wales(PDF, 760kb).
