    Fire Service issue tumble dryer safety message during period of wintry weather
    ​Over the last few weeks the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service has attended a number of incidents attributed to tumble dryers, the latest being on Tuesday, 10/01/2017 at 19:41pm, when crews from Morriston attended a fire at a property in Ynystawe, Morriston.​

    WAST commence operational response from Swansea Central Fire Station
    ​On Monday, 09/01/2017, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service welcomed the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust to its fire station at Swansea Central. This new venture will see an ambulance stationed at the Fire Station with Firefighters and Ambulance Crews working side by side.​
