Summary

Members will be aware of the incident at the Buncefield Oil Terminal in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire on 11 December 2005.

The attached paper (PDF, 25,6kb) gives a synopsis of the incident and gives details of the review of operational practices underway in Pembrokeshire and the rest of the Service area in relation to this type of risk.
