1. Apologies for Absence and Personal Matters.
2. Declaration by Members of any Personal Interests
3. To appoint a Chair for the Municipal Year 2006/2007

To resolve, that pursuant to Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the reason, that if they were present, it is likely that there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within the description of Schedule 15, namely Information relating to any consultations or negotiations, or contemplated consultations or negotiations, in connection with any labour relations matter arising between the authority and employees of the authority.
5. To consider background and supporting information relating to the intention by the FBU to request a trade dispute and possibly a ballot for strike action
6. To receive a verbal update on the Communication Strategy
7. To receive a verbal update on Contingency Planning
8. Any other items of business that by reason of special circumstances, the Chair decides should be considered as a matter of urgency pursuant to Section 100(4)(b) of the Local Government Act 1972
