If, following the application of the Public Interest Test, the Committee resolves pursuant to the Act to consider these items in private, the public will be excluded from the meeting during such consideration.
The Public Interest Test in this matter is:-
“The reports relate to a review of the Senior Management Structure, Re-alignment of Estates Department Structure and of Principal Officers’ pay. To make this information public would disclose personal data relating to individuals in contravention of the principles of the Data Protection Act. The public interest in disclosure is therefore outweighed by the public interest in maintaining confidentiality.”
