Summary
Members are asked to consider: -
- The proposed Outcome targets
the Service intends to set for itself in relation to Incident
activity. The targets are set against a base line average for the
5-year period
from 1999 to 2004 and are to be reached by the 31st March 2010.
Consideration should be given to the Fire & Rescue National
Framework for Wales, which sets ambitious targets for Fire related
and Road traffic
collision Deaths and Injuries.
- The proposed time scale and process
for setting the Services BVPI targets for 2006/07.

Note the progress
made to date with regards to the construction of WAG Key Performance
Indicators (KPI's).

Recommendation
- Members consider and approve the attached long term outcome targets.
