REPORT TO RESOURCES COMMITTEE

DATE: 18th April 2005

Control Room Site Sharing Agreement With Dyfed Powys Police

SUMMARY:

Following the Authority meeting in September 2004, detailed work commenced to develop and deliver a Control Room design solution that would address the operational needs of the Service at the new Joint Communications Centre at Llangunnor. This report identifies to Members the costs of these final works and recommends how they may be offset against outstanding capital receipts and absorbed within rental/lease charges. Reference is also made to the National Framework for the Fire & Rescue Service in Wales as recently published by the Welsh Assembly Government.
