FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICES (CHARGING AND EMERGENCIES) (WALES) ORDER
2005 – DRAFT FOR CONSULTATION
Summary
Members will be aware that the Welsh Assembly Government is currently
consulting on the detail of the Fire and Rescue Services (Charging
and Emergencies) (Wales) Order 2005. The closing date for consultation
was 24 December 2005.
Given the complexity of the consultation document
and the response prepared by Officers, it was not possible to finalise
and present this to full Fire Authority at its meeting on 5 December
2005.
The attached response was approved by the Chairman on 20 December
2005 and has been submitted to the Welsh Assembly Government.
The

for Members information.
Implications
There are implications for personnel throughout the Service to ensure
that appropriate actions are delivered.

Recommendation
That Members note the response made by the Authority to the Draft Fire
and Rescue Service Order.
