The County of Carmarthenshire is divided into the industrial towns of Llanelli and Ammanford with Carmarthen as the administrative centre. The remainder is made up of small towns and rural areas. With excellent road networks, Carmarthenshire County Council has successfully developed many areas to encourage growth of both business and leisure.
