03/02/2012 : 03:57:00 - Ty´r Pobydd Flats, Briton Ferry Road, Neath: Applainces from Neath and Morriston Fire Stations attended a 3 Storey property, where a second floor flat where a fire had occurred which was confined to a grill pan, Fire Service gained entry using small gear. 1 male was led to safety by the Fire Service and seen by ambulance at the scene.      01/02/2012 : 13:17:00 - A470 Storey Arms to Libanus Road: 2 appliances from Brecon Fire Station Attended a Road Traffic Collision involving 1 private motor vehicle and 1 heavy goods vehicle tanker.1 male and 1 female were trapped in the car and released by fire service personnel using hydraulic cutting equipment, chocs and blocks, small gear and a dewalt saw. Oxygen therapy and first aid kit were also in use. The driver of tanker and the female casualty were conveyed to hospital by road ambulance. Male casualty from car conveyed to hospital by air ambulance.      31/01/2012 : 13:47:00 - Erik Ems ,Normandy Road , Landore , Swansea: Two appliances from Swansea West and Morriston Fire Stations attended an incident at Normandy Rd where a fire had started involving Acetylene Cylinders. The premises was evacuated and made safe by the Fire Service      27/01/2012 : 23:27:00 - Car park of Accident and Emergency, Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth: Two appliances from Aberystwyth Fire Station attended an incident involving a car at Bronglais Hospital. A person was removed using a spinal board and cutting equipment and transferred to Accident and Emergency via ambulance.      27/01/2012 : 14:44:00 - Park House Nursing Home, New Hedges, Tenby: Two appliances from Tenby Fire Station attended a fire in a bedroom at a nursing home. Two breathing apparatus sets, fire extinguisher, thermal image camera and positive pressure venting fan were used. One female resident suffered burns and was conveyed to hospital by ambulance.      25/01/2012 : 12:35:00 - Briars Court, Blaenymaes, Swansea: Crews and appliances from Swansea attended a fire in a 2 storey semi detached prop in Blaenymaes.

Cwmbwrla Chapel Fire
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to a fire in a derelict chapel in the Cwmbwrla area of Swansea shortly before 4.30am hrs on Saturday 21 January.
