Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service believes that evidencing corporate responsibility towards environmental management is best achieved by setting of both qualitative and quantitative environmental objectives.
These objectives are aligned with both the Service’s Corporate Plan and the Sustainability and Environmental Strategy 2020-2025. The Service uses these objectives to measure its environmental performance against.
It was agreed by the Sustainability and Environment Working Group that the Environmental Objectives for 2022/2023 will remain the same as the previous year due to lockdown. As such, the objectives for the year ahead are as follows: -
|
Objective 1 |
|
Objective 2 |

Objective 3 |

Objective 4 |

A report of performance against these targets will be incorporated in the 2022/2023 Annual Environmental Report.
This Annual Environmental Report for the period 2021/2022 will be externally verified as part of a Green Dragon Environmental Management Standard Audit by a registered assessor during the re-assessment of the Environmental Standard.
