Why are we consulting?

In line with the guidelines set out within the Local Government (Wales) Measure 2009 (PDF, 1.5Mb, Opens in a new window/tab), we have a duty to have in place a Community Risk Management Plan which ensures that we…

  • Make progress against our objectives;
  • Improve the quality of our Service;
  • Improve the availability of services;
  • Reduce inequality in accessing or benefiting from our services;
  • Ensure sustainable development;
  • Improve efficiency;
  • Innovate.

This is your Fire and Rescue Service and we want to hear your views on our proposed Improvement and Well-being Objectives, which we are confident will enable us to deliver our statutory duties and contribute to the requirements of the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.
