Newtown Fire Cadets discover their green fingers
Congratulations to Newtown Fire Cadets who have secured funding £900 from the National Lottery to set up a jubilee garden at the front of Newtown Fire Station.
Local Primary Schools have supported the project by filling raised boxes with plants. These plants were provided at a discounted rate by Morrisons.
Each school painted their boxes to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The Morrisons Community Champion, Ms Jennifer Coppell also attended to support this project as well
