Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service firefighters will be competing in the Welsh Firefighter Challenge this June.

Crews from Morriston, Swansea West, Neath, Gorseinon, Port Talbot and Carmarthen were called to a large gas explosion in Morriston on Monday, March 13th.

On Tuesday 7th March crew members from Kidwelly Fire Station presented three local businesses with a plaque and letter of thanks from Roger Thomas, Chief Fire Officer of Mid & West Wales Fire & Rescue Service (MAWWFRS), to thank them for their ongoing support in allowing employees to be released for operational incidents, as and when required.
