On Thursday 20^th October Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service held their Annual Long Service & Good Conduct Medal Ceremony for their Southern Division.

11 members of Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service staff, along with volunteers recently undertook a 4-day Tour of Wales cycling event in preparation for their LEJOG challenge in 2023.

The three Fire and Rescue Services of Wales officially launched their new fire safety character, Sbarc, at the Urdd Eisteddfod held in Denbigh this week.

On April 30^th at the Swansea.com arena in Swansea, a squad of 12 newly recruited Wholetime Firefighters completed 1000025 meters on spin bikes in a bid to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity and The 2wish Charity.

Friday, 3^rd December 2021, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service newest firefighters will attempt to run lengths of hose from the pier head of Mumbles to Tesco car park in Swansea Marina for charity.
