Eleanor Webb, Service Youth Officer within our Community Safety Team has been busy!
She has helped to organise and take part in creating a music video to help raise money for Diabetes UK and Cruse Bereavement Care.
“A Choired Taste" is a female choir based in Carmarthen. The choir was formed by Sarah Kirby in September 2014 and continues to grow in strength and numbers. Age is just a number and doesn’t define friendships - the choir ranges in age from 15-85 currently. It’s a great way to meet new friends, socialise and build confidence. We have an open-door policy where everyone is welcome.
Eleanor said, “My Dad sadly passed away 5 years ago, and I really wanted to do something in his memory and help raise money for Diabetes UK. My friend runs ‘A Choired Taste’ and after taking part in a previous charity song with her, I asked if she would like to create another one, and the rest as they say is history!”
She continued; “Losing a loved one is hard, and we wanted to let people know that they’re ‘Never Alone’. Cruse Bereavement Care, our second chosen charity is there to support everyone who has lost a loved one and are there to support those grieving the loss of their loved ones, every step of the way. We would be so grateful for any support and donations people are able to give to these two amazing charities!
