Technical Rescue Team Training at Plantasia Tropical Zoo

On April 24th, members of our Technical Rescue Team conducted a training visit at Swansea’s Plantasia Tropical Zoo.

With the assistance of Mike, Plantasia’s Zoo Manager, Mark and Rhodri got up close-and-personal with a variety of exotic animals to learn how to handle reptiles.  The team attend a range of incidents and training sessions such as these will be beneficial and will ensure that animals and team members can be protected when responding to emergency situations.

Mark and Rhodri also had a tour of Plantasia Tropical Zoo to check and discuss fire safety and emergency procedures.
