Children from Ysgol Y Bannau recently took part in our poster competition for our latest recruitment drive.
The prize for Anwyn Sheers was a station visit at Brecon with her classmates. They got to meet the crew and look around the appliances. They even got a taster of what it's like to be a firefighter by spraying water at pretend fires, taking part in water rescues and even have a race to see who could get dressed in fire kit the quickest, a firefighter or a teacher!
The children were so well behaved, asked some very good questions and were a credit to their school.
