At 12.21pm on Monday, November 11th, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crew from Crickhowell Fire Station, assisted by crews from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, was called to an incident on High Street in Crickhowell.
Crews responded to a fire on the first floor of a two-storey commercial building measuring approximately 10metres by 10metres. Crews utilised four breathing apparatus sets, two hose reel jets, one safety jet, thermal imaging cameras, cutting gear and one positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Every floor of the building was checked for hot spots by crews and Firefighters delivered fire safety information to neighbouring properties.
Crews left the scene at 2.41pm.
