Incident: Derelict Property Fire in Milford Haven

On Tuesday, January 21st, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crew from Milford Haven responded to a derelict property fire in Marine Gardens in Milford Haven.

At 8.34pm on Tuesday, January 21st, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crew from Milford Haven was called to an incident in Marine Gardens in Milford Haven.

Crew members responded to a derelict property, measuring approximately 10 metres by 7 metres, with a small amount of smoke issuing from the property’s chimney.  Access was gained to the property using small tools and a fire was located in a bedroom on the property’s first floor.  Crew members utilised one knapsack sprayer and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.  It is believed that the fire was started deliberately.

The crew left the scene at 9.48pm.
