On Wednesday, 18th December crew from Milford Haven Fire Station held a ’Christmas Carol’ event in which the public could come visit Santa and get involved in some festive fun!
There was a variety of activities throughout the evening which included an Elf Hunt with a goody bag prize, Christmas craft station, snowman football, refreshments, Christmas music and Santa’s Grotto where children received a gift from Santa and his elves!
The highlight of the evening was a performance from local choir – Gelliswick Community Choir and some of the Milford Haven Crew!
The Christmas event was full of fun and proved to be a huge success, raising £255.38 all in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity and the Sandy Bear Bereavement Charity.
Crew Manager Luke Jenkins said:
“Despite the weather in true tradition the people of Milford Haven turned out to support the Fire Station and helped make it both a memorable and successful evening.”
The evening wouldn’t have been possible without the help from local businesses:
Milford Haven Town Council
Milford Haven Round Table
Milford Haven Masonic Lodge
Tesco Milford Haven
Lidl Milford Haven
We would like to thank everyone who got involved and supported the event. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all the crew at Milford Haven Fire Station.
