On Sunday, 11 January, the newest members of Tumble Fire Station took part in a water bowser training session as part of their ongoing development.

The water bowser is a vital piece of equipment, often supporting crews at incidents requiring large amounts of water. The bowser based at Tumble Fire Station is capable of holding up to 9,000 litres of water, making it an important resource.

As part of the session, Firefighters established a water dam, helping to ensure a continuous supply of water remains available on the incident ground while the bowser leaves the scene to replenish its water supply.

This training gave crew members the opportunity to learn, practice and strengthen their understanding of key operational procedures, supporting their readiness to respond effectively to incidents.
