On Wednesday, June 19th the crew from Brecon Fire Station came to the rescue of a lamb that had become stuck in a 6 feet deep ditch in Llanfaes, Brecon.
The incident involved carefully navigating steep terrain as well as overgrown vegetation which needed to be cut back using hand saws to access the lamb. Demonstrating their animal rescue training and skills, crew members used a triple-extension ladder to reach and to successfully and safely rescue the lamb and return it to its farmer.
