At 9.11am on Sunday, March 16th, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Gorseinon, Pontarddulais, Morriston and Swansea Central Fire Stations were called to an incident in Grovesend in Swansea.
Crews responded to a fire involving two buildings used as workshops, which then spread to a nearby large garage. The fire involved a large quantity of flammable materials, including several gallons of kerosene heating oil.
Crews utilised six breathing apparatus sets, two hose reel jets, one main jet to extinguish the fire. Thermal imaging cameras were then used to monitor the area for any remaining hot spots. The fire is believed to have been started accidentally.
Crews left the scene at 10.24am.
