Incident: Hill Fire in Priest Weston

Firefighters from Montgomery and Welshpool Fire Stations, supported by Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, responded to a hill fire in Priest Weston on Sunday, August 3rd.

At 4.29pm on Sunday, August 3rd, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Montgomery and Welshpool Fire Stations were called to an incident in Priest Weston.

Supported by a crew from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, crews responded to a hill fire measuring approximately 50 metres by 200 metres.  Crews utilised four hose reel jets and two wildfire beaters to extinguish the fire.

Crews left the scene at 7.24pm.
