At 10.09pm on Thursday, February 13th, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service from Swansea Central and Morriston Fire Stations were called to an incident in Penlan in Swansea.
Crews responded to a fire involving one van and which had spread to a nearby outbuilding. Crews utilised two hose reel jets, one breathing apparatus set and one thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. The fire had also spread to the eaves of a property but caused no internal damage. The van and the outbuilding were completely destroyed by the fire.
After the fire was extinguished, Firefighters visited neighbouring properties to share fire safety information and guidance.
Crews left the scene at 10.52pm.
