Firefighters from Llanfyllin Fire Station supported the Llanfyllin and District Show on Saturday, August 10th.
Held at Bodfach Park, the Llanfyllin Show, which is held annually, includes a variety of agricultural and horticultural displays and presentations.
Firefighters from Llanfyllin Fire Station attended the show with a variety of equipment to provide safety information and engage with the public. Their presence aimed to raise awareness on fire safety, particularly in rural and agricultural settings. They offered practical advice on preventing fires, demonstrated safety equipment and answered any question from the show’s attendees.
They were also able to offer interactive activities, such as giving children and adults the opportunity to sit in a fire truck to dress up as a firefighter!
