In early June, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service hosted two Experience Days for anyone interested in a career in the Fire Service.
Held at Newtown and Haverfordwest Fire Stations, the sessions gave people a chance to explore the wide range of roles within the Service and understand what the Firefighter recruitment process involves.
Across the day, attendees joined short talks and Q&A sessions on career pathways, fitness requirements for Firefighters, and the important work carried out by our support staff.
There was also plenty of hands-on activity, including ladder drills and equipment handling, so participants could get a feel for the practical and physical side of the role.
