Incident: Vehicle Fire on A48

On Tuesday, May 12th, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Tumble and Carmarthen Fire Stations were mobilised to an incident along the A48 westbound, near Foelgastell.

At 7.17am on Tuesday, May 12th, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Tumble and Carmarthen Fire Stations were mobilised to an incident along the A48 westbound, near Foelgastell.

The crews responded to a fire involving one private motor vehicle.  Crews utilised two hose reel jets and one thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.  After extinguishing the fire, crews continued to dampen down the vehicle.  The vehicle was completely destroyed by the fire.

Crews left the scene at 8.11am.
