The national register provides details of enforcement, prohibition and alterations notices issued on businesses by the Fire and Rescue Authorities in England and Wales.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Authority is required by the Environment and Safety Information Act 1988 (opens in a new window/tab) to maintain a public register of notices. The Act requires authorities, to which this Act applies, to establish a public register of relevant notices served concerning health, safety, environmental protection and related issues. MAWWFRA provide details of issued notices to a national register managed by the National Fire Chief's Council (NFCC).
